Q&As

Why would I want to use the myGMC skill for Alexa instead of the myGMC® mobile app?

Alexa is totally hands-free. If you have an Alexa-enabled device in your kitchen and your vehicle is properly equipped, you can remote start/stop your vehicle's engine or lock/unlock your vehicle while you're fixing lunch.

How do I disable the skill?

Like all Alexa skills, it can be disabled through your account at alexa.amazon.ca or in the mobile app.

How do I remove a car from my skill?

  1. Go to alexa.amazon.ca or the Amazon Alexa mobile app and log in to your account.
  2. Click the menu button and select your skills. Click on “Your Skills.” Click the myGMC skill and select “disable skill.” You will need to connect your skill to your account again. Click “enable skill” to start that process; you will need your username and password to log in.
